New Focus in Region on Research, Executive Programs and Events

STAMFORD, CONN., March 26, 2004 — Gartner, Inc. today announced a renewed focus on its information technology research services, executive programs, and events for the Latin America region. Gartner will dedicate all its resources in the region to these three client offerings effective 1 April.

With the new emphasis in these core competencies, Gartner will no longer offer consulting and measurement services directly in Latin America, except in Mexico. Some consulting and measurement services will be available in other parts of the region on a limited basis, originating from Gartner's North America and EMEA offices.

"Gartner remains committed to providing thought leadership advice to companies throughout Latin America," said Donald Feinberg, vice president for Gartner in Latin America. "This realignment of resources will allow us to better serve enterprises in the region with Gartner analysts focused on industry trends in region, as well as global business developments. Our supporting sales staff will remain active and engaged with clients to build the Gartner brand and increase revenues in the region."

Gartner Events will host the upcoming Application Integration and Web Services conference 14-15 April 2004 at the Hotel Gran Melia WTC in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The conference will be repeated in Mexico the following week at the Centro Banamex in Mexico City on 20-21 April 2004.
