U.S. Spring Symposium Added to Help Meet Demand
Stamford, Conn., September 30, 1999…Gartner Group, Inc. (NYSE: IT) announced today that Symposium/ITxpo 99, to be held in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, October 11 - 15, is officially sold out.
Symposium, hailed as the industry's most prestigious IT event, is sold out with more than 8,000 attendees. ITxpo has also sold out with more than 450 vendors exhibiting their products and services in a low-hype high-value arena. The weeklong event features hard-hitting keynotes and more than 250 in-depth research sessions featuring GartnerGroup's leading analysts.
Microsoft's president, Steve Ballmer, Dell Computer's chairman and CEO, Michael Dell, Intel's president and CEO, Dr. Craig Barrett, and Novell's chairman and CEO, Eric Schmidt will offer their candid views of high technology's future in "Mastermind Interview" panels at GartnerGroup Symposium/ITxpo 99.
